MacDuffie Science Fair

science fair

The annual Science Fair will be held in The MacDuffie School gymnasium on Thursday, April 30th.

The Science Fair provides middle and upper school students with an opportunity to research and learn about science related topics that interest them.

Through the use of the scientific method and individual research, students will experience and learn how scientific principles are an integral part of the world around them.

Science professionals from around the local area, along with school staff members, will judge the projects in the morning.

Guest judges will be joining us from Bayer Material Science, Genzyme, and the Biology Department of UMass-Amherst, including Dr. Margery Coombs, Emeritus Professor, Dr. Jim Holden, and Dr. Dennis Searcy, Emeritus Professor.

The fair will be open to parents and the public from 4:00 to 5:30 PM.

We are looking for more volunteers to help out. If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Joe Stella at jstella@macduffie.org.
