MacDuffie Camps a Success

Summer camp season passed by in a blink!

There were two camps at The MacDuffie School this summer: Our kids’ day camp and basketball camp.

Kevin Konstant, Director of Summer Programs, oversaw the day camp for rising 1st through 8th graders. Running in one-week sessions from July 10 to August 18, the camp included theater and dance, swimming, digital storytelling, forensics, art classes, and more…something for everyone. Camp MacDuffie was a success once again, and we look forward to next year.

Coach Rivera kicked off his first basketball camp (Running With Rivera), which ran from July 31 to August 4 and included kids ages 5 to 15. Forty-five developing basketball players worked with Coach Rivera, current players, and other area coaches. Coach said the inaugural camp was so well-received that he’s thinking of adding a second session for next year.

Thank you to all the families who supported our 2017 summer camps!

The good news is that our camps were fun and educational. The bad news is that summer is coming to a close…
