MacDuffie vs Hamden Hall – Win 3-2

28-26, 15-25, 19-25, 26-24, 25-13

We followed up the great performance against Miss Halls with an excellent performance by all the girls in this match. The score was very close the whole game. The girls stepped up their game, and all played extremely well. In the fourth game the Mustangs had to fight extra hard to stave off a Hamden victory, if Hamden had won the fourth game, MacDuffie would have lost the match. The team did not fail under pressure; instead they excelled and showed everyone what it means to be a true Mustang. They fought hard to come back and won! All of the girls played very hard, and pulled through to take the victory!

Florence Tshimanga had an amazing performance with 19 kills

Jocelyn St. Onge added 11 kills, 10 aces, 22 digs and 23 out of 24 on serve receive

Ashley Stebbins had 8 kills, 12 assists, 11 aces and 26 digs

Kacey Deecher and Jayda Mclean led the team with 36 digs each

Aniis Anderson had 8 kills

These are the standout performers.

MacDuffie vs Winchendon – Loss 3-0

10-25, 23-25, 19-25

We had a slow start but played very well against a very solid Winchendon team. The effort we had in this match was exactly what we are looking for.  The first two games were really competitive and the close loss in the 2nd game was too much to overcome.

Jayda McLean led the team with 4 aces
