Tuition & Fees
Each student is accepted and enrolled as either a full-time boarding student, a 5-day boarding student, or a day student. The Director of Recruitment and Enrollment Management and the Head of School must approve any status changes. Tuition covers most curricular and extracurricular activities. It includes room and board for boarding students and lunches for day students. A 1.5% net tuition discount is offered if the year’s net tuition and fees are paid on or before April 30, 2024.

(1) Health insurance is mandatory for all students; students with US-based health insurance must forward proof of insurance to the School Nurse. International students with US-based, ACA-creditable health insurance (NOT travel or reimbursement plans) may, at the parents’ option, opt out of MacDuffie’s group travel insurance program. Students who are enrolled in travel or reimbursement insurance plans may NOT opt out of MacDuffie’s travel plans.

How to Apply for Financial Aid for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
Families can begin to apply for financial aid starting on December 1, 2023, as described below. The application deadline for new and returning families is February 1, 2024.
Click on the prompt to begin your Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). You only need to complete one PFS, even if you have several children applying to MacDuffie. Each parent household must complete a PFS. If an applicant’s parents are divorced or separated, each parent must file a PFS form and submit the required documentation separately. In addition, families who own a business or a farm must file a business/farm statement, which can also be completed on the SSS website.
You will be given a username and password that will allow you to return to your PFS later before submitting your completed PFS. Your information will be secure.

A letter notifying the recipient of awarded financial aid is sent at the same time as the letter of admission. A signed copy of the financial aid agreement should be returned with the deposit before March 15. This deposit signifies understanding and acceptance of the award.
Local Town Scholarship
Originating in 2022, The MacDuffie School Local Town Scholarship is open to new students from the immediate area surrounding Granby, MA. The winner of this prestigious award receives a full scholarship to attend The MacDuffie School and will be notified in early March. Runner-up applicants are eligible to receive partial scholarships and Tuition Assistance.To qualify, the candidate must have a completed application on file.
