Global Admissions

The MacDuffie School provides a quality co-ed private school education to local and international students who are bright, talented, and interested in attending college or university. These students experience a culture and a community at MacDuffie that is both challenging and supportive–a community that encourages students to explore their interests and discover new possibilities. We provide the environment and curriculum for students to improve their language skills, explore leadership opportunities, and successfully build the academic and professional skills necessary for success. MacDuffie is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

MacDuffie is also a welcoming community. This year (2023-2024), we have students from 16 nations and throughout the US. Our international students live on campus. At the end of the school day, our students participate in the Co-Curricular Activities Program (CAP), which includes athletics and various special offerings such as chess, cooking, and dancing. On the weekend, students are offered recreational as well as educational activities. In addition, boarders take several longer trips to places like Washington, D.C., Vermont, and Boston. Homestay students learn about American culture by living with a local family and participating in activities with their hosts.

Our school location is ideal for international students. Located in Western Massachusetts on 254 acres of undeveloped New England greenery, we can easily access Boston to the east and New York City to the south.

MacDuffie offers pick-up service for its students from Bradley International Airport, the Springfield Amtrak station and Peter Pan Bus Terminal in Springfield, MA.  Arrangements are made through the Office of the Dean of Boarding Life. Note that we do not offer pick-up from other airports.
